October Korean Dramas Ranked by Order of Importance



The ranking was made considering the track record of the writer, director, and actors.





#1 Evillive (October 14)


Han Dong-Soo (Shin Ha-Kyun) practices law for a living. He chooses a prisoner to visit at random and grabs a case. Although he tends to be sensible and rational most of the time, he has a dark side. He is propelled by something to cross the line and enter the bad world. Han Beom-Jae (Shin Jae-Ha), his younger half-brother, is a musician. Han Dong-soo uses Han Beom-Jae as a case broker, bringing him clients while he is employed at a business selling used computers. Han Beom-Jae discovers Han Dong-Soo's transformation after bringing him a case one day.

Seo Do-Young (Kim Young-Kwang), the second-ranking member of a criminal organization, is a party to that case. He used to play baseball and doesn't look like your typical gangster. He conceals a cruel and unpredictable madness behind his good looks.

#2 Strong Girl Nam-soon (October 7)

Kang Nam-Soon's (Lee Yoo-Mi) strength is unmatched. As a little child, she vanished in Mongolia. She travels to Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea, as an adult to look for her parents. Her mother Hwang Geum-Joo (Kim Jung-Eun) is finally introduced to her. Her mother lives in Gangnam and is an affluent woman. Hwang Geum-Joo searched for her daughter after losing her and also made an effort to live a moral life, becoming fixated on doing good things. Hwang Geum-Joo's mother and Kang Nam-Soon's grandmother are both named Gil Joong-Gan (Kim Hae-Sook). Like Kang Nam-Soon, the grandmother and mother likewise were endowed with extraordinary power from birth.

Kang Nam-Soon, her mother Hwang Geum-Joo, and her grandma Gil Joong-Gan somehow become engaged in a Gangnam narcotics case. The three women start collaborating with Detective Kang Hee-Sik (Ong Seong-Wu) on the narcotics case. Detective Kang Hee-Sik attracts Kang Nam-Soon as well.

Set between January 3, 1637, and February 24, 1637, during the Joseon era, when the Qing invasion caused great hardship for the populace. That's when a love story begins to blossom.

Unknown Lee Jang-Hyun (Namkoong Min) appears out of nowhere in social circles. Although he gives off the impression of being happy, he is not. He is a complex individual with a sinister secret that he is unable to share with anyone. His life is changed when Yoo Gil-Chae (Ahn Eun-Jin) appears in front of him. Yoo Gil-Chae comes from a noble family. She is a stunning woman who exudes confidence. She develops as a person as she goes through the turmoil brought on by the Qing invasion and falls in love with Lee Jang-Hyun.

#4 Castaway Diva (October 28)

A bright and upbeat young woman named Seo Mok-Ha (Park Eun-Bin) lived on an island. She had always wanted to be a singer. She made the decision to go to a Seoul audition in pursuit of her dream. She becomes stranded on a desolate island while traveling there. Seo Mok-Ha is rescued from the deserted island after 15 years. She tries to fit into a strange world while maintaining a positive outlook, and she still works toward her goal of becoming a diva.

#5 High Cookie (October 23)

People try to escape the quicksand created by a cookie that, with just one bite, fulfills all of their dreams.

At a factory, Choi Soo-Young (Nam Ji-Hyun) performs temporary labor. Her younger sibling, who is three years younger than she is, is cared for by her. Choi Soo-Young needed to start working when she turned 18 in order to help support her family. She quit high school and started a job at a factory. Choi Soo-Young intervenes when her younger sibling gets into trouble due to a homemade cookie.

The best private high school in the nation, Junghan High School, is where Seo Ho-Soo (Choi Hyun-Wook) studies. He is able to succeed despite his parents' meager financial circumstances because of his intelligence and tenacity. His wealthy classmates consider him to be a pushover.

The best admissions consultant is Yoo Sung-Pil (Kim Moo-Yul). To help his students get into the university of their choice, he will use any means necessary, even illegal ones. He is completely covered. He goes to Junghan High School and accepts a consultant position for the entire 3rd grade class, despite not being asked to.

#6 Doona! (October 20)

One of the members of an idol girl group was Lee Doo-Na (Bae Suzy). She was the group's lead vocalist and its most well-liked member, but she abruptly announced her retirement. She now resides in a shared home close to a university and rarely leaves the house. Lee Won-Joon (Yang Se-Jong) is a university student in the meantime. He is a kind-hearted, unremarkable young man with no noteworthy past. He starts residing in Lee Doo-Na's shared residence. He comforts Lee Doo-Na with his kind heart. They are drawn to one another.

#7 A Good Day to be a Dog (October 11)

Han Hae-Na (Park Gyu-Young) works as a high school teacher and is a single woman. She appears to lead a typical life, but her family is hiding something. Han Hae-Na'sfamilyhas been cursed for many generations as a result of her ancestor's transgression. When her family kisses someone, they are cursed to turn into dogs for six hours starting at midnight. They then return to their original appearance. Until that person kisses the same person while appearing as a dog, this transformation occurs every night.

Han Hae-Na asks a potential romantic partner not to kiss her when they first meet because of the family curse. The men usually leave her as a result of this. One evening, Han Hae-Na (Cha Eun-Woo), who is intoxicated, unintentionally kisses Jin Seo-Won. Even though they both teach at the same high school, they are not close as coworkers. Han Hae-Na quickly slips into a panic mode and keeps circling Jin Seo-Won in an effort to get a second kiss.

Jin Seo-Won, meanwhile, is terrified of dogs due to an incident that occurred to him when he was a young child. He is a charming teacher with good looks. He is well-liked by the students.

#8 Moon in the Day (October 25)

The biggest star in Korea is Han Joon-O (Kim Young-Dae). With his tall, attractive appearance, he appears to be the ideal person, but he suffers from an inferiority complex. He is a member of Beginning Entertainment, which is run by Han Min-O, his elder brother (On Joo-Wan). One day, Pyo Ye-Jin's characte rKang Young-Hwa, a firefighter, and Han Joon-O participate in a public advertisement. A car accident happens while the advertisement is being filmed. Han Joon-O is rescued from the accident by Kang Young-Hwa. Kang Young-Hwa then starts serving as Han Joon-O'sbodyguard. After the collision, when Han Joon-O awakens, Do Ha's (Kim Young-Dae) vengeful spirit has taken over his body. Do-Ha was a nobleman in Silla who was assassinated by his devoted wife Han Ri-Ta (Pyo Ye-Jin).

#9 The Deal (October 5)

Yoo Seung-Ho's character Lee Joon-Sung was a promising soccer player in high school. His life is now a disaster, and he no longer participates in the sport. He makes the decision to change his ways and embark on a new life. But Song Jae-Hyo (Kim Dong-Hwi), a friend of Lee Joon-Sung's, starts an abduction investigation.

Lee Joon-Sung's high school classmate Song Jae-Hyo is currently a medical student. He is currently going through a personal issue. He abducts Park Min-Woo (Yoo Su-Bin) on a whim in order to get out of trouble and collect one billion won.

Lee Joon-Sung and Song Jae-Hyo attended the same high school as Park Min-Woo, who graduated with them. His wealthy parents only have him. He is abducted on the spur of the moment by Song Jae-Hyo and Lee Joon-Sung.

#10 The Matchmakers (October 30)

Suddenly, the princess passed away during their wedding ceremony. Sim Jung-Woo'scircumstanceschanged, making him the most unfortunate person. The late husband of Jung Soon-Deok, a widow, was the second son of the first vice-premier. Yeojoo-daek is the alias she uses to live a secret life. She operates as Yeojoo-daek, a matchmaker who also sells accessories and cosmetics for women. She is the most adept matchmaker in Hanyang's capital. Sim Jung-Woo and Jung Soon-Deok get involved with one another and work as matchmakers to arrange marriages for older single people.
