Two Films with enough Laurels to Make a Tub of Adobo Lead Sinag Maynila 2018 Winners

Tale of the Lost Boys by Joselito "Jay" Altarejos snagged the Sinag Box Office Award, Best Editing, Best Screenplay, and Best Film. Altarejos' film, according to IMDB, is "a story about an unexpected connection between a Filipino and a Taiwanese aborigine who are both in search of their identities." Jover's, is about a mute man living with an assumed daughter who encounter circumstances that bring forth another persona boiling beneath the surface. The former was part of HKGLFF 2017, The 26th Rainbow Reel Tokyo, IQMF, etc. It premiered at the Tokyo International Lesbian and Gay Film Festival last July 2017.
