Lee Jae Wook Returns To Manila For 2025 Asia Fan Meeting Tour pro'log'

Announcement -- Korean actor Lee Jae Wook is making his much-awaited return to the Philippines for his 2025 LEE JAE WOOK ASIA FAN MEETING TOUR pro'log' in Manila! Set to take place on September 20 (Saturday) 6PM at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. Presented by Wilbros Live.

This marks the Korean actor's second time in Manila, after his sold-out 2023 fan meeting, where he won over hearts with his genuine charm and sweet interactions with fans. Lee Jae Wook has quickly made a name for himself as one of the most exciting young actors in South Korea today. Whether he’s playing a romantic lead or taking on a role that’s more emotional and intense, he always manages to draw viewers in. Fans in Manila can expect to see the actor behind some of K-drama’s biggest hits, including Alchemy of Souls, Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, Extraordinary You, and Memories of the Alhambra—all of which show his versatile acting range.

Lee first caught viewers’ attention in Memories of the Alhambra, where he shared the screen with veteran actors Hyun Bin and Park Shin-hye. Since then, he’s steadily made a mark with both lead and supporting roles. Earlier this year, he took on a more challenging role in the Netflix drama Dear Hongrang, playing a mysterious figure who shows up claiming to be the long-lost son of a wealthy family. He’s also set to star in the upcoming drama Last Summer, which fans are already looking forward to.  Outside of acting, Lee is currently showing a lighter, more playful side on tvN’s variety show Fresh off the Sea 2, where he’s charming viewers as the lovable youngest cast member.

Following a successful kickoff to his Asia Fan Meeting Tour in Japan, Lee Jae Wook shared, “Thanks to the fans, I created precious memories and received a lot of positive energy that strengthens me as an actor.”

With Manila as his next stop, he is set to bring that same warmth and passion to the stage. Don't miss an unforgettable night with Lee Jae Wook! Tickets go on-sale on July 26 Saturday 12PM via SMTickets.com and SM Tickets outlets nationwide. The Real Villains Appear after Hide Episode 4: A Korean Drama Review

Hide is a new Korean drama series airing on JTBC. It is in the mystery and thriller genre. Starring Park Bo-young, this series centers on a prosecutor turned housewife who unveils secrets in connection to a powerful group of people while looking for her husband Cha Sung-jae (played by Lee Mu0Saeng) who's an attorney and CEO of their company.

As usual, this is an acting showcase for Bo-young, starting off as a caring mother, then turning into a grieving wife hounded by her husband's secrets, and finally as she regains her confidence and sharpness while squaring off with the devious Ma Kang, her seemingly harmless neighbor Ha Yeon-joo (played by Lee Chung-ah) turns out to be watching her every move and might be part of the shadow organization manipulating the string of events.

The teaser for episode 5 shows Yeon-joo threatening Chung-ah with a video of her husband beaten up and kidnapped. Apparently, she's supposed to take over her husband's unfinished task.

I recommend watching this as there is a new piece of the puzzle to unravel every episode. The series also stars Lee Min-jae as Do Jin-woo, a rough fellow who's willing to do anything for money but can be a royal friend.

This Korean drama is an adaptation of the Welsh series which aired on BBC, Keeping Faith. Hide streams on Viki and Coupang Play.

Gyeongseong Creature returns with an enthralling second season, extending its narrative from the tumultuous spring of 1945 to the bustling streets of 2024 Seoul. This continuation, set against the backdrop of monstrous creations born from human greed, further entwines the fates of Jang Tae-sang and Yoon Chae-ok.

Season 2 takes a dramatic leap through time, as revealed in the intriguing post-credit footage of Season 1. In this pivotal scene, a character called “Ho-jae”, bearing a striking resemblance to Jang Tae-sang, turns to reveal a mysterious scar, igniting a flurry of questions about his identity and the scar’s origin. This moment is a gateway to the series’ time travel element, transitioning the setting to Seoul of 2024. The released stills amplify the mystery, capturing Chae-ok at a critical juncture and suggesting a season brimming with enigmatic events and connections. Director Chung Dong-yoon shares his vision for this new chapter, stating, “Season 2 presents a story with a completely different charm. The change in space and time period will provide a clear distinction, offering an expanded universe feel.”

Season 1 captivated audiences worldwide with its unique blend of period drama and fantastical elements, earning high praise from international media. CNN hailed it as “[it] deserves to be a monster hit,” while TIME magazine noted, “it is also about the world we live in today.” Just 3 days after release, Season 1 gained a spot in the Global TOP 10(Non-English) to rise up to the third place and appear in the TOP 10 list of 69 countries across the globe including Brazil, Japan, Singapore, France, and Australia.

The suspense around the series is further fueled by the cliffhanger from Season 1’s finale and the anticipation of how the characters’ narratives will evolve. Actors, including Park Seo-jun and Han So-hee, have hinted at the deeper character developments and emotional depth of the upcoming season, continuing its legacy as a global sensation and delving into the mysteries of time travel and destiny.

Gyeongseong Creature Season 2, set to premiere exclusively on Netflix, is all poised to reveal a larger, more dynamic story.
