“I’ll be singing about different aspects of love
like love for family, love for the country, etc. It’s not just about romantic
love. Love is universal and it’s really a big word for me,” said the Inspirational Diva Jamie Rivera. She is
now gearing up for her concert to be held two days henceforth, All
About Love on February 13, 2017, Monday at 7:00 p.m. Presented by
Highrise Manila and GGG Productions, it will be held at the Grand Ballroom of
the Sofitel Philippines Plaza in Pasay City.
Some of her popular songs are Tell the World of his Love, Heal
Our Land, Tanging Yaman, and We are All God’s Children. The devout
Christian believes that people her age can still fall in love and not just the
millenials. She even mentioned the case of Boots Anson Roa and King Rodrigo who
got married three years ago even though they were both senior citizens. She
admitted that her monicker “put her into a box” and she was almost always remembered
for her gospel songs so she’s thankful to her producers for giving her the opportunity
to perform her hit love songs like Hey,
It’s Me, Mahal Naman Kita (Pangarap
Ka Na Lang Ba), and I’ve Fallen For
You.
The concert will also feature Crystal and T.O.D. as
the front act performers while Frenchie Dy and Robert Seña will have song
numbers as well as a duet with her. Apart from gospel or inspirational songs, other
genres will be broadway, eighties, standard, and pop.
“This is my first time to have a solo dinner concert
at Sofitel,” she added. Most of her Valentine shows were abroad and a recent
performance of hers was last July of 2016 in the Balesin Concert Series. “I’m
gonna sing songs from my experiences dedicated to the young ones and to people
in love.”
Tickets to the concert are available for PhP4,250
per head inclusive of a buffet dinner; PhP8,500 per couple, inclusive of a
buffet dinner for two; and PhP40,000 per table, inclusive of buffet dinner for
ten people. Proceeds from the concert will go to SOS Children’s Village.
