Full Blast Pinoy Super Bands Bring Together Pinoy Rock Legends this October 20

"Kami lang yun eh. Meron pa bang ibang Lolita? Meron pa bang ibang Pepe Smith? Wala eh," confidently said Mike Hanopol when asked about who will be take over the legacy of Pinoy rock.

For the first time in the history of Original Pilipino Music (OPM), the biggest and most iconic names in Pinoy rock music will come together to put up a performance of the decade.

Presented by Rockfordproductions, Inc., Full Blast Pinoy Super Bands gathers legendary and OPM rock icons in what is easily one of this year's biggest and much awaited musical events.

Wolfgang frontman Basti Artadi shared his insight about the impact of social media on Pinoy rock. "The thing with social media is it's a two-sided sword. So, in one hand, you can get your message out to a lot of people. But, on the other hand, it kinda deadened the crowd. They don't feel the necessity to go out anymore."

Aside from Hanopol, Smith, and Artadi, all set to rock music fans with their timeless and iconic anthems at this one-in-a-lifetime musical showcase are legendary Filipino rock bands including folk rock pioneer Lolita Carbon of the Asin band and the boys, hit Pinoy rock band from the 70s Maria Cafra, ealr 80s punk rock group The Wuds, alternative punk group The Youth, pinoy hard rock band Razorback and Pinoy metal group Queso.

Also set to electrify the stage are 90s rock icons and fan favorites Dong Abay, former frontman of Yano; and the all time king and godfather of Pinoy rock n' roll, Juan de la Cruz Band, with its original members Mike Hanopol, Wally Gonzales, and Pepe Smith performing together after so many years in a big concert arena.

Full Blast Pinoy Super Bands takes place this October 20, 2017 at the CUNETA ASTRODOME. Tickets are available thru Ticketnet online and Ticketworld.
