Original musical play My Suite Princess returns onstage for REP’s Community Outreach program

Relive the mysteries and poignant tales of deception at the Argent Hotel as Repertory Philippines (REP) restages its musical My Suite Princess for its community outreach program on September 1, 3 PM at Circuit Makati.

For the second time around, REP partners with AyalaLand to offer a free live theater experience to indigent children and families aiming to expose and help less privileged individuals develop a broader interest in culture and arts. This production is also made possible by grants from one of the members of the Barredo Family and Professor Nelia Sarcol of CIE (Centre for International Education).

Young talents from REP’s 2018 Teen Masterclass star in the rerun of the musical production written and directed by Joel Trinidad and Nicky Triviño, with musical direction by Onyl Torres, music by Rony Fortich, and choreography by PJ Rebullida.

The musical masterpiece takes the audience to the Argent Hotel in 1955, where the chambermaid Lily (Michelle Cornejo) pretends to be a princess and meets a man she thinks is the hotel manager. Severino (Rafael Jimenez) is actually a photographer in disguise wanting to snap a picture of the mysterious and elusive Princess Tatiana (Regine Torres) and her world-famous diamond necklace.
