The TNT Boys have travelled the world to sing on foreign stages and TV shows and even won “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids” this year, but the trio composed of Mackie Empuerto, Francis Concepcion, and Keifer Sanchez have no signs of stopping and will take on more projects before 2018 ends.
Last night (November 14), the TNT Boys were named the Royal Cub awardee at this year’s RAWR Awards 2018 for consistently making headlines, trending on social media and on YouTube for their world-class performances, and bringing pride to the country.
TV viewers will also see more of them every weekend as they are officially joining the Kapamilya musical variety show “ASAP” as regulars beginning this Sunday (November 18) and performing alongside the country’s finest singers.
More surprises also await their fans as the bigshot trio releases a Christmas album titled “TNT Boys Christmastime” under TNT Records in December to give their own renditions of some of the most-loved classic Christmas songs in time for the holiday season.
Mackie, Keifer, and Francis are also pulling out all the stops for their first major concert titled “Listen: The Big Shot Concert” happening this November 30 at the Araneta Coliseum.
Joining them are special guests “Fantastica” Vice Ganda, Jed Madela, K Brosas, and fellow “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids” performers Chun-sa Jung, Esang de Torres, Krystal Brimner, Marco Masa, Noel Comia Jr., Onyok Pineda, Sheena Belarmino, and Xia Vigor.
Tickets are still available for Box (P700), Upper Box (P400), and General Admission (P200) sections. Visit ticketnet.com.ph or call (02) 911-5555 for more details.
Officially established as a trio after their viral and electrifying vocal showdown in “Gandang Gabi Vice” last year, the TNT Boys has since bolstered their careers, having performed in several international talent shows, including the “Little Big Shots” in the US, UK, and Australia. They also have performed for several head of states, including Pres. Rodrigo Duterte, Singaporean president Halimah Yacob, and Papua New Guinea prime minister Peter O’ Neill.
In October, the boys travelled to the US to compete in an international talent competition, which will air soon.
Before becoming a group, Mackie, Kiefer, and Francis first impressed viewers as grand finalists in “Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids.” They also joined “The Kids’ Choice” and donated their cash prize of P50,000 to Bantay Bata.
