Pops Fernandez and Martin Nievera's Undeniable Chemistry Will Make Your Jaws Drop in Twogether Again

So there he was with his pointed forefinger, almost tousling her hair as he faux poked (I say faux because his finger didn't make a physical contact) her in different places as she turned her back on him for a bit to address some of the press people's questions. The venue was West Avenue Suites but really, the place does not matter. Because, wherever they go, it is very obvious that Pops Fernandez and Martin Nievera are sol aligned with each other that they practically finish each others sentences.

Originally a power tandem known as the Concert King and Queen, the numerous times they have been paired with each other led to their "love team" gaining a following. The Penthouse Live! was a variety show which ran for more than 4 years was a witness to the budding romance between the two,  which led to a marriage that sadly did not last "forever" (like the title of Martin's song) and was formally ended via annulment 20 years ago.

However, time heals all wounds and both have grown in their own way. "You know what, it's really hard to direct a Martin and Pops, kasi nga we follow what...kasi nga spontaneous kami," admitted Pops when asked about who has been directing their shows. The process has not been at all easy and Martin admits there is a particular song which they perform which affects him. "I won't say the title so you will watch the show but the lyrics are: Where did I go wrong? What did I do to make you change your mind completely? So, that's hard. I wish I could make it iwas but it's so appropriate for this relationship."

Twogether Again will literally bring the two together again on the concert stage. It already had a successful run in United States with over twenty sold out shows late last year. This will be a Valentine show at The Theater at Solaire with special guests. RitKen or Rita Daniela and Ken Chan will guest on Feb. 14 and 15, Joaquin Domagoso (son of Mayor Isko Moreno) will be there from Feb. 17 to 19, and L.A. Santos on Feb. 20 and 21. Robin, their son, will also join their performances.

Ticket prices range from Php1,250 to Php7,500 and may be purchased via Ticketworld outlets, calling 8-891-9999, or paying with a credit card via www.ticketworld.com.ph. Anna Puno (Star Media Entertainment), Daddie Wowie (Joaquin's manager), and Flor Santos (LA's mother) are co-producers together with Pop's very own DSL Events and Production House. The beneficiary for the concert is Knox United Methodist Church.
